LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The suspect accused of killing the driver found dead behind the wheel earlier this week, was taken into custody on Thursday.
42-year-old Tony Archuleta was taken into custody on March 7, and booked on charges of open murder.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received an initial report of a vehicle crashing into a “structure” in the 4400 block of East Lone Mountain Road around 12:41 a.m. Arriving officers located the driver, who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel at the scene.
Police determined that the victim was “followed by an unknown vehicle” before the shooting.
