LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Former NBA star Lamar Odom is expected in court Tuesday morning for a bench trial on his DUI charges from earlier this year.

Odom pleaded not guilty to the charges in March, two months after he was pulled over by a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper who arrested him January 17 on DUI and speeding-related charges.

According to an arrest report obtained by FOX5, Odom was observed by the trooper driving around 90 mph then briefly accelerating to 105 mph then the trooper approached. Additionally, the trooper claims to have observed Odom moving lanes without signaling and signaling in both directions without switching lanes on the I-15.

During the traffic stop, the trooper noted in the report Odom’s “bloodshot, water eyes” and a “significant odor of Marijuana” coming from the vehicle. Odom later failed a sobriety test, according to the report.

Tuesday’s hearing is intended to be a bench trial, where a judge will issue a final verdict on the case.

Odom is due in court at 9:30 a.m.
