LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center has documented 424 traumatic injuries related to e-bikes and e-scooters to date, according to hospital officials.
Leaders at Sunrise Trauma said the injuries continue to accumulate across Las Vegas and Southern Nevada despite warning signs about the risks associated with e-bikes and e-scooters.

The announcement comes in the weeks leading up to World Brain Day on July 22. This announcement also comes months after the last warning Sunrise issued in March, when the center reported treating 254 patients with e-bike injuries, more than half seen in 2025.
The hospital said its trauma team sees and treats e-bike and e-device injuries daily.
Officials said individuals and families can reduce the risk of traumatic injury by using proper protective gear. The hospital also issued guidance for drivers to remain alert for e-vehicle riders on the road.
