According to an arrest report, when parking enforcement arrived to issue a citation for failing to pay, Vazquez approached and said, “I have a bomb, I have a bomb… there’s a bomb in the area.” Police said she then left on foot and was later taken into custody.
At a court appearance Thursday, a judge kept bail at $100,000 and ordered the competency evaluation.
Vazquez is scheduled to return to court August 7.
