Auditions are scheduled for Aug. 1 by appointment for two shows: Disney’s “High School Musical” and a stage adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Sense & Sensibility.”

Those trying out are asked to prepare a one-minute monologue, and auditioners for the musical should also bring a one-minute song selection.

“High School Musical” is slated to run Sept. 25-26 and Oct. 2-3.

“Sense & Sensibility” is scheduled for Nov. 12-14.

Tickets for both productions are expected to go on sale by Sept. 1, according to the announcement.

On the class side, registration is open now for a Tuesday-night theater and audition prep course for ages 13-18, along with an improv workshop for adults.

Additional youth class registration opens Aug. 1, including Saturday acting sessions for younger students and teens.
