LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nigro Construction has completed what it calls one of Southern Nevada’s most innovative educational facilities, called the Hooks Family Innovation & Technology Center at Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School.
The two-story building broke ground in fall 2024 and was finished ahead of the 2026-27 school year. The project was designed to support the future of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education through specialized learning environments.

The center’s design emphasizes flexible, technology-enabled spaces that encourage collaboration, creativity, and hands-on learning. Features include state-of-the-art STEM laboratories with fume hoods, wash stations and specialized equipment; a dedicated physics lab; and an environmental science lab with access to an outdoor saltwater tank.

The facility also houses a high-performance esports arena outfitted with gaming PCs, acoustic treatments and customizable LED lighting. Other elements include an interactive physics playground, a large multipurpose room for presentations and events, and an outdoor courtyard.
