LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The 9/11 memorial stair climb will return to The STRAT this fall, honoring the nearly 3,000 people who died in the attacks.
Registration is open to all first responders — including police, fire and EMS personnel — as well as active duty military, veterans and their family members. Participants must be at least 18 years old and physically capable of climbing 110 flights of stairs with minimal breaks.

An opening ceremony featuring an honor guard performance and a flyover by the Young Soldiers Air Force will begin at 8 a.m. in front of The STRAT tower on Las Vegas Boulevard. The climb runs from 8 to 10:30 a.m., with the registration table opening at 7:30 a.m.
Registration is $30 per participant. Proceeds benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the Nevada Burn Foundation and the Vegas Fire & Rescue Charitable Association.
Immediately following the climb, participants and spectators are invited to a toast to the fallen at PT’s Pub inside The STRAT.
