LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Stoney’s opened its newest location at Sunset Station on Saturday, marking the country bar’s third location in the Las Vegas valley and its first in Henderson.
Owner-operator Paul Lowden said the expansion follows years of regulars from Henderson and Boulder City making the drive to Stoney’s other locations. The bar opens to the public at 8 p.m., with more special events promised in the weeks ahead.

What to expect
The Henderson location will operate Wednesday through Saturday and offer the full Stoney’s experience, including a mechanical bull, line dancing, free lessons and live music four nights a week.
“Henderson seems to have the same values we cherish,” Lowden said. “People out here really love country, really love country music. We’ll be open Wednesday through Saturday with the mechanical bull, line dancing, free lessons and a lot of live music — the full Stoney’s experience.”
Stoney’s existing valley locations are at Town Square and Santa Fe Hotel Casino.

Sunset Station’s broader vision
Lee Torres, vice president and general manager of Sunset Station, said the addition of Stoney’s fits into a larger effort to expand live entertainment and food and beverage options at the property.
“We’re extremely excited,” Torres said. “It’s a great source of live entertainment — you can come in, learn line dancing, ride a mechanical bull. They just fit what we’re trying to do at Sunset Station, giving guests more reasons to come visit us.”
Torres said additional developments are planned for the property in the near future.
“You’ll see more new developments roll out soon, bringing live entertainment and food and beverage to a community that really wanted it,” Torres said.
