LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A man wanted for allegedly terrorizing residents and visitors in Center City Philadelphia while wearing a mask has been arrested in Las Vegas, federal authorities announced.
Zymire Hughes was apprehended in Las Vegas by the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Philadelphia branch and the USMS Nevada Violent Offender Task Force.

Hughes was wanted by the Philadelphia Police Department on an active warrant for aggravated assault. Authorities accused him of terrorizing innocent citizens and disrupting the peace in Philadelphia’s downtown area. U.S. Marshals had previously warned Hughes to surrender peacefully or face apprehension by a task force.
Hughes is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas as he awaits extradition back to Pennsylvania.
