LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority hosted approximately 3.2 million visitors in July, up 2.7% from a year earlier, according to the LVCVA’s July 2026 executive summary.
Convention attendance totaled 262,700, down 5.6% from last July. The LVCVA said the decline largely reflects normal show rotations and calendar timing differences. The Association of Woodworking & Furnishing Suppliers Fair, which drew about 11,000 attendees, was held elsewhere this year, while the CHAMPS trade show, which drew about 24,000 attendees, shifted from July 2025 to August 2026.

Hotel performance
Hotel occupancy in Las Vegas reached 77.2% in July, up 1.1 percentage points from last July. The average daily room rate rose 1.8% to $157.45. Revenue per available room, or RevPAR, rose 3.2% to $121.55.
Room nights occupied totaled 3,603,100, up 2.3% year over year. Weighted room inventory stood at 150,608, up 0.8%.
Strip occupancy was 80.2%, up 0.7 percentage points, with Strip ADR at $167.40, up 1.7%, and Strip RevPAR at $134.25, up 2.6%. Downtown occupancy was 58.5%, down 4.5 percentage points, with downtown ADR at $87.41, down 0.3%, and downtown RevPAR at $51.13, down 7.4%.
Air travel and gaming revenue
Total enplaned and deplaned air passengers at Harry Reid International Airport totaled 4,412,684 in July, down 7.6% from last July.
Clark County gaming revenue totaled $1,173,131,000 in July, up 1.5% year over year. Las Vegas Strip gaming revenue totaled $776,339,000, up 3.6%. Downtown gaming revenue totaled $68,468,000, down 8.6%, and Boulder Strip gaming revenue totaled $82,671,000, down 2.5%.
Laughlin and Mesquite
In Laughlin, visitor volume totaled 160,000 in July, up 8.1% year over year. Total occupancy was 61.3%, up 2.0 percentage points, with ADR at $75.70, up 6.9%, and RevPAR at $46.40, up 10.5%. Gross gaming revenue totaled $41,035,000, up 0.1%.
In Mesquite, visitor volume totaled 63,000 in July, down 1.6% year over year. Total occupancy was 54.8%, down 3.8 percentage points, with ADR at $92.40, up 11.0%, and RevPAR at $50.64, up 3.8%. Gross gaming revenue totaled $15,080,000, down 0.5%.
Year-to-date totals
Through July, Las Vegas visitor volume for 2026 totaled 22,754,200, up 0.5% from the same period last year. Convention attendance year to date totaled 3,909,300, up 11.2%. Year-to-date hotel occupancy was 81.3%, ADR was $188.04 and RevPAR was $152.88.
Year-to-date gaming revenue in Clark County totaled $8,130,050,000, up 2.3% from the same period last year.
