LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — On Oct. 17, Clark County Commissioners Tick Segerblom and William McCurdy II will host “¡Celebrando Nuestra Cultura! A Clark County Latino Cultural Festival” at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater.
It’s a free, family-friendly event featuring live music, folklorico dance performances, and mariachi and cultural exhibitions.
More than 4,000 people attended last year’s festival, and organizers are expecting an even bigger turnout this year.
“Three years in, this festival has grown into one of the largest celebrations of Latino culture in Southern Nevada,” said Commissioner Segerblom. “I’m proud of how the community keeps showing up each year to celebrate the heritage and contributions of our Latino residents.”

The festival will be a picnic-style event, with families encouraged to bring their own blankets to sit on the amphitheater lawn. Free food will be available to the first 2,000 people.
Kids can also enjoy face painting and balloon artists in a dedicated children’s area.
For the first time, attendees will be able to enter raffles to win tickets to Vegas Golden Knights and Las Vegas Raiders games. Organizers will also raffle off tickets to see Ricky Martin and Don Omar in concert, tickets to Disneyland, and other surprises.
Representatives from the consulates of Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala will also be at the festival, offering services and resources to anyone who needs them.
The festival runs from 3 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 17.
