LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person is dead months after being critically injured in a crash in east Las Vegas earlier this year.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 23 just before 3:30 p.m. near Sahara Avenue and Paradise Road.
According to police, a Chevrolet Silverado was making a right turn from northbound Paradise onto East Sahara when the pedestrian stepped into its path and was hit.

Emergency medical personnel transported the 67-year-old pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital with minor injuries at the time. On Monday, the Clark County Coroner’s Office notified authorities that the pedestrian’s condition had deteriorated, and was pronounced dead on July 5.
The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado showed no signs of impairment, police added on Monday.
The crash remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.
