LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County Fire Department crews rescued an adult man from a drainage tunnel near Twain Avenue and Eastern Avenue late Monday night.
The department received reports at approximately 10:04 p.m. that an individual fell over a bridge into the tunnel. Arriving firefighters observed the man standing in fast moving water.

Crews attempted to deploy rope bags but were unsuccessful due to the distance and speed of the water between them and the man, according to the department. The department’s Technical Rescue Team arrived on scene and established a high-point and rope system to lower a technician to secure the man.
Crews raised the man and the responder without further incident. The man was assessed on scene and released.
