LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The NBA is expected to select the winning bid for ownership of a Las Vegas expansion team in the near future, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Charania reported the price for the franchise and a new arena is expected to be at least $12 billion to $13 billion.

Three finalist groups remain, according to Charania: Nancy Walton Laurie and Bill Laurie; Steve Apostolopoulos and Marc Lasry; and Bill Foley and Jerry Colangelo.
It is not currently clear when the decision may come down, with the report stating that it could be “in the very near future.”
