LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Clark County School District Police Department will not pursue a Memorandum of Understanding to access the Flock camera system, its chief said Monday.
In late August, CCSDPD’s Chief Jeff Clark said the department’s use of Flock cameras was paused as he reviewed procedures.

“Following a thorough review, the Clark County School District Police Department (CCSDPD) will not pursue a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to access the Flock camera system,” Clark said.
Clark said CCSDPD does not own or operate Flock hardware and has previously accessed data through partner law enforcement agencies.
Any further updates regarding Flock cameras will be shared with the Board of School Trustees in public, according to the statement.
“In any emergency involving imminent danger to our students, staff, or community, we will collaborate with our law enforcement partners and use all available tools to ensure their safety,” Clark says.
