LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — UNLV is coming to downtown Las Vegas.
On Wednesday, the City of Las Vegas City Council approved a lease for the university to open office space at the Las Vegas Civic Center.
UNLV is coming to the Las Vegas Civic Center! At today’s City Council meeting, a lease was approved for UNLV to open office space at 70 Bonneville Ave., creating a new connection between the university and downtown Las Vegas. 🎓
The space is planned to offer student services, workforce development, cybersecurity and technology programs, small business and financial literacy consultations, arts programming and more. ✨

The space is slated to offer student services, workforce development, cybersecurity and technology programs, small business and financial literacy consultations, arts programming and more, the city says.

The project was first announced earlier this summer, when organizers introduced it as a “Rebel One Stop” during a Board of Regents meeting.
At the time, UNLV officials say the goal is to expand access for adult learners, strengthen workforce pipelines, and support economic growth by connecting students, employers, city partners and residents across Southern Nevada.
The Las Vegas Civic Center is located at 70 Bonneville Ave, near Main Street.
