LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A new development coming to the City of Las Vegas will become the home of a community staple.
According to the City of Las Vegas, after 18 years in the community, the Gritz Cafe will be expanding it’s business with a location now planned inside The Good Word Social Club.
City Council approved the business to join two other businesses approved earlier this year. The Gritz Cafe will open inside the new market hall in 2027, city officials said.
The Good Word Market Hall will be located on D Street and Madison Avenue. The city says the development will be a first-of-its-kind gathering space in the Historic Westside.

The $8.7 million redevelopment project broke ground earlier this year and was announced to be completed by Oct. 2026.
