NORTH LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The city of North Las Vegas will host its annual Veterans Day barbecue and resource fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.
The event will take place at the North Las Vegas Veterans and Community Resource Center, 3090 E. Centennial Parkway.
The entire event is free and open to the public. Organizers said it is family-friendly.

Veterans and their families can meet with local organizations that offer help tailored specifically to veterans. Help includes jobs, housing, education, mental health and well-being, financial guidance, and legal support.
The center opened in October 2022. It said it has connected more than 1,900 local veterans with no-cost services and support.
