The gathering comes more than nine months after officers were called on Jan. 28, 2026, to a home in the 8600 block of Rowland Bluff Avenue, according to police. LVMPD Communications received a call from a juvenile who reported that his mother had been injured inside the residence.

Responding officers found Briana Flowers and Anfernee Pollard suffering from life-threatening injuries. Police rendered aid until medical crews arrived, but both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
Investigators determined that the suspect or suspects fled the area before officers arrived.
The LVMPD Homicide Section responded to take over the investigation. To date, no suspects have been charged in connection with the killings, and detectives continue to search for leads.
