LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A suspect is in custody on Saturday afternoon after he was seen pointing a gun at vehicles on the Las Vegas Strip.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the vehicle was seen pointing a gun at “multiple vehicles in multiple locations” in the northwest valley. Officers were able to locate the vehicle in the area of Sahara and I-15 but the suspect failed to stop for officers.
Police say a pursuit began, and intervention tactics were used. The suspect was taken into custody shortly after.
There are currently no injuries to officers, the suspect, or civilians. The investigation is ongoing.
