LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced that a second suspect has been arrested in connection with an apartment complex shooting that left one teen dead earlier this month.

On April 9 at approximately 9:22 p.m., LVMPD dispatch received reports of a shooting in an apartment complex located on the 2100 block of Club Pacific Way. Arriving officers found a teenager suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and took the victim to UMC where he was pronounced dead. The LVMPD Homicide Section took over the investigation.

Detectives determined that the teenager was involved in an altercation with several other individuals in the complex shortly before the shooting. Police said that all suspects fled the area before officers arrived.

Las Vegas police announced on Thursday morning that a 17-year-old was arrested in connection to a deadly apartment shooting from earlier this month.

Detectives identified 18-year-old DeAjai Guaydacan as the suspect in this case. On April 23, Guaydacan was arrested in Spanish Forks, Utah, and booked into the local county jail for open murder pending extradition to Las Vegas.

Metro police also arrested a 17-year-old suspect in connection to this case last week. He was booked into the Clark County Juvenile Hall for open murder.

The Clark County Coroner identified the victim as Ah’Sioni Henderson, a 16-year-old from Las Vegas. His cause of death was identified as multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
