LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man is injured after a hit-and-run crash in northeast Las Vegas on Sunday morning.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred at 7:50 a.m. on North Nellis Boulevard, south of East Craig Road. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 29-year-old male pedestrian was walking south on Nellis on a sidewalk when a white 2008 Chevrolet Equinox traveled onto the sidewalk, striking the pedestrian.
The vehicle immediately fled the area, police say. Responding emergency medical services transported the pedestrian to University Medical Center’s Trauma Center for life-threatening injuries.
Police would also locate the Chevrolet unoccupied, though the unidentified driver remains outstanding at this time.
