LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A female with multiple stab wounds was found in a “dumpster enclosure” Monday morning by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Around 7:35 a.m., police said they responded to the 9000 block of West Sahara Avenue. This is near S. Fort Apache Road and W. Sahara Avenue. Arriving officers found a deceased female and believe that she was a victim of homicide.
The LVMPD Homicide Section was requested.
The investigation revealed that the victim had multiple stab wounds.
“This is an ongoing investigation,” LVMPD said. “The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.”
This is the second body officers discovered recently. Previously, LVMPD discovered a body Sunday night in near Sahara and S. Las Vegas Boulevard.
