LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – With less than a month remaining until it opens, a new bridge connecting Laughlin and Bullhead City has received a name.

The new bridge over the Colorado River will be called “Silver Copper Crossing,” a nod to the two states that it connects. The grand opening of the 724-foot bridge is scheduled for June 7.

It will carry one lane of traffic in each direction. Additionally, a multi-use trail will also sit on the south side of the bridge for bicyclists, runners, and pedestrians, featuring two overlooks.
