LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The annual three-day festival in downtown Las Vegas is taking a pause to “reimagine and evolve” the experience for its attendees.

This year, Life is Beautiful is offering “A Big Beautiful Block Party” late September.

The festival says that the block party is not replacing the festival. In fact, organizers say the two will soon “coexist.”

“For a number of reasons it was appropriate to hit pause on the Life is Beautiful Festival this year. We are hard at work reimagining and evolving the festival experience for the sake of you, the fans, and the incredible community that surrounds us,” organizers said in a press release. “This event is not intended to replace the festival. For now, it gives us the opportunity to continue the annual tradition of gathering in Downtown Las Vegas to uplift one another, to express ourselves, and to connect. In time, the two will coexist.”

The block party is planned for Sept. 27 and 28. Doors are expected to open at 5 p.m. Organizers say it will be located at 324 Main Street.

Two day passes are said to start at $199 with no overlapping sets.

The lineup is expected to drop Tuesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. local time.
