LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Sentencing has been delayed for a Las Vegas man who agreed to plead guilty to charges stemming from the shooting of a Las Vegas middle school campus security monitor last year.

A man charged with 13 felonies following the shooting of a Las Vegas middle school campus security monitor last year has agreed to plead guilty.

Rios was further implicated following the release of a jailhouse phone call he had with his brother in which the two discussed the crime. On May 14, Rios agreed to plead guilty to one count of attempted murder and one count of discharging a firearm from within a structure or vehicle. The other charges against him were dropped.

He is now scheduled to be sentenced in Clark County District Court on July 18.
