LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Pet owners in the City of Las Vegas have exactly one month to microchip their pets.
This is in order to comply with a new ordinance which takes effect August 1.
Beginning this week, and throughout July, the Nevada SPCA is offering free microchipping for pet owners. It’s first come, fist serve.
There is a limit of three pets per household, officials say.
Dogs are expected to be on a leash and cats to be in a carrier.
