LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Davis family has launched a website to raise $75,000 in bail money for Duane “Keffe D” Davis.
Davis is accused of the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.
On Aug. 27, Clark County District Court Judge Carli Kierny said she was skeptical of the $750,000 bail funds initially wired from the entertainment company “Wack 100.”
“I have a sense that things are trying to be covered up,” Kierny said.
The family now asks for help raising $75,000 to cover Davis’s bail expenses.
The family refers to Davis as ‘Keefe’ while court documents have referred to the defendant as ‘Keffe D.’
An attorney spokesperson confirmed the fundraising efforts of the Davis family.
