LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A’ja Wilson has been named Time Magazine’s “Athlete of the Year,” according to an article published Tuesday morning.
The publication highlighted the WNBA Las Vegas Aces player.
According to the Las Vegas Aces, Wilson has earned her fourth MVP, second Finals MVP, third Defensive Player of the Year award and made history as the first player in the WNBA or NBA to be named a Finals MVP and League MVP, and DPOY all in the same season.
Officials report Wilson is the only WNBA player to win four MVP trophies before the age of 30.
