LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Animal Foundation says all adoption fees will be waived for shelter pets Saturday.
The Las Vegas shelter thanks Planet 13 for the support. The fees are also waived for puppies and kittens, officials say.
A $10 license fee may still apply.
Wednesday alone, the shelter took in 152 animals. There are currently 233 pets available for adoption.
For the month of July, the shelter took in 2,729 animals.
The shelter says they are still calling for fosters and adopters to “maintain a manageable shelter population and ensure the well-being of the animals and staff.”
