LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An Arizona man has been arrested for making a terroristic threat toward a planned protest.

Richard Charles Bertram, 55 of Golden Valley, was arrested by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office after learning about a threat on social media.

Deputies saw an image of guns and ammunition on a social media post with threats of shooting attendees at an upcoming protest.

According to a records check, he is on probation for weapons charges.

He was arrested in the 5100 block of Apache Road in Golden Valley. Police say he admitted to making the post.

He was transported and booked into the Adult Detention Facility in Kingman.

FOX5 asked where the protest was planned. Officials say there was not a specific location mentioned in Bertram’s threat, but that Mohave County does have rallies scheduled for Saturday.
