LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are responding to a barricade west of I-15 Friday.
The incident started at 11:43 a.m. in the 4300 block of El Conlon Avenue. This is near Sahara Avenue and Arville.
Police said someone threatened family members with a firearm. The person refused to comply.
SWAT and crisis negotiators are on scene.
Police said the family members are safe outside the residence.
Clark County School District Police told FOX5 Clark High School is on a soft lockdown due to the barricade.
Police are asking people to avoid the area due to heavy police presence.
