LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – UNLV’s Immigration Clinic said six asylum-seekers were arrested by ICE in Las Vegas after leaving immigration court.

Here’s what the clinic says happened on Tuesday:

“Those six men were not in detention when they came to court to try to find legal pathways to staying in America — and for some of them, the government had found they had a credible fear of persecution in their home countries.”

All six are being held at a detention center in Pahrump, according to the UNLV immigration clinic.

The release said there has been no further ICE activity as of Thursday afternoon.

We’ve reached out to the Las Vegas Immigration Court about this.
