New charges come for Kevin Menon, 42, after a grand jury indicted him on charges related to “unlawful arrests” on the Strip.

Judge Nadia Wood also ordered Menon to surrender his passport and firearms, both of which were provided to his defense attorney. During the hearing, she stated that the charges against Menon made her concerned for the safety of the community.

Metro says Menon was placed on leave in May, under suspension of police powers with pay pending further investigation.

He is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 7, 2024.
