LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County firefighters responded early Tuesday morning to a house fire in the northeast Las Vegas valley.
According to the Clark County Fire Department, dispatchers received calls about a bathroom fire in a single-story, single-family home around 3:34 a.m. The first units arrived around 3:40 a.m. and observed fire through the roof of the residence.
Residents of the home self-evacuated and were located outside the home when units arrived.
Investigators were called and determined the cause of the fire to be a bathroom fan. The damage to the home is estimated to be around $500,000.
No injuries were reported to firefighters or civilians, and assistance was requested from both the North Las Vegas Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue.
