LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Planning to watch the Tropicana Las Vegas implosion early Wednesday morning?
FOX5 spoke with the director at Findlay Chevrolet who says vehicles should be far enough that they are not harmed by the blast.
Implosions create a lot of dust that could harm your vehicle’s performance and could damage paint.
“Vegas is dusty to begin with,” said John Gonzalez, fixed operations director at Findlay Chevrolet. “With all the dust and particles in the air, it could have a negative effect on cabin air filter.”
He recommends you check the air filter and if it’s dirty – replace it.
On top of the filters, vehicle paint jobs could be damaged by the fust from the implosion.
“Don’t wait too long to get it washed,” he said.
