LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – North Las Vegas police are investigating an early morning crash into a smoke shop as an attempted burglary on Wednesday.

Around 5:30 a.m., officers with the North Las Vegas Police Department responded to the shop in the 300 block of West Craig Road. A Silver Hyundai Elantra appeared to have driven through the front entry area of the business while it was closed.

No one was injured, police say.

An initial investigation revealed that a black Kia Optima had also driven through the neighboring firearm business, however, detectives say nothing was stolen from either store.

An investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
