LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County School District Board of Trustees has approved the adoption of a final budget for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
State law requires the district to submit a final budget to the Nevada Department of Taxation by early June. According to a media release, CCSD estimates an approximate $3.5 billion in total operating revenues for the 2024-2025 school year.
84% of the general operating fund is allocated to employee salaries and benefits. The final budget includes an unassigned ending fund balance of approximately $157 million.
