LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A fifth-grade teacher within the Clark County School District faces child abuse charges, officials announced.
CCSD Police said they arrested Kha Nam Nguyen Friday. Nguyen was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
Police say an investigation started at Wing and Lilly Fong Elementary School in February this year. Nguyen has been employed by the district since January 2007.
Police say Nguyen has been assigned home after negotiations with the bargaining unit.
