LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County School District Police Department arrested Roberta McIntyre, 66, on Thursday for three counts of abuse and neglect.
According to a CCSD media release, she was booked into the Clark County Detention Center. The arrest stems from an investigation initiated at Robert E. Lake Elementary School on Thursday.
The district said McIntyre has been a substitute teacher for CCSD since December 2016. She has reportedly been removed from CCSD’s substitute pool and is no longer eligible to serve as a substitute in the District.
This is the second arrest of a school district employee in two days, after the arrest of a bus driver suspected of DUI following a school bus crash on Wednesday.
