LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Clark County School District substitute teacher has been arrested following an incident involving a minor.
According to a media release from the district, CCSDPD arrested Nicholas Bott, 44, on Thursday. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of child abuse and illegal contact with a minor or mentally ill person.
CCSD added that the arrest stems from an investigation initiated on Tuesday, May 14 at Ernest A. Becker Sr. Middle School. Bott was a substitute assigned to Becker Middle School and has been employed by the District since April 2016.
He has been removed from CCSD’s substitute pool and is no longer eligible to substitute in the District. Bott has an appearance in Clark County Justice Court scheduled for June 20.
