LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County School District Superintendent Jhone Ebert will deliver her first State of the District address Thursday morning.
The address will be held at the Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts.
The event will highlight the roadmap for CCSD to become the “Destination District,” according to district officials. Ebert and other CCSD leaders will outline their vision and highlight ways the community can contribute to the future of the district.
The address comes after CCSD launched “Dream Sessions” to gather community input on the district’s future. The district has hosted seven in-person and virtual sessions throughout January and February, building on input from thousands of survey responses and conversations with community leaders.
Attendees will include members of the CCSD Board of School Trustees, district leadership, Public Education Foundation Board Chair Peter Guzman, and elected officials and representatives from throughout Southern Nevada.
The event is not open to the public, but FOX5 will be present to livestream the event.
