LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A CCSD teacher assistant has been arrested for child abuse and battery.
The Clark County School District Police Department arrested Alicia Fletcher, 31, on Friday. She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
The arrest stems from an investigation at Red Rock Elementary School Friday.
She has been employed with the district since July 2024 and is a specialized programs teacher assistant.
CCSD Police stated that she is on unpaid leave after a negotiated agreement with the bargaining unit.
