LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County School District Trustees voted to approve $7.8 million in repairs for Lundy Elementary school.
Lundy Elementary closed when tropical storm Hilary tore through the area back in 2023 and officials reported the building sustained significant damages.
Parents in the area remained persistent to reopen the only elementary school on Mt. Charleston.
Last month school officials said their goal is to reopen Lundy by August.
