
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Charges have been dropped against a former Clark County Fire Department captain once accused of stealing fentanyl.
Christopher Burr faced felony counts of burglary of a business and misconduct by a public officials.
He was not in court Thursday, but his attorney was present. Burr was arrested after a crash on Christmas Eve.

At the time, Burr told investigators he suffered a seizure. His arrest report noted paramedics found drug vials and a syringe in his truck. He also allegedly failed a field sobriety test.
Officers say they later found several bottles of fentanyl behind a wall a short distance from the crash scene.
The arrest report shows those vials came from Burr’s own firehouse. Police say he took them from a restrictred room used to store expired medication.
The case is now closed.
