LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a home after two dead bodies were found inside, according to officials.
LVMPD reported around 7:20 a.m., officers responded to the 8600 block of Rowland Bluff Aveenue on Durango Drive, south of Blue Diamond Road.
Police say a child called 911 to report his mother was injured. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a woman and a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. The pair died on the scene, according to LVMPD.
LVMPD Homicide Detective Robert Price says this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
Detectives have not located any weapons at the scene of the crime, at this time, said Price. CPS has been contacted to assist the child.
Metro Police say their Homicide unit is on the scene assisting the investigation.
