LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The project for a 1 October memorial is moving forward as the county agrees to give a $10 million donation.
During Tuesday’s meeting, commissioners unanimously voted to designate that money for the “Forever One” memorial. It’ll be a donation grant to the Vegas Strong Fund. Commissioners will still have to authorize the funds in a future meeting to decide how the money will be allocated for the project.

The Forever One memorial will honor the 58 lives lost during the events of 1 October 2017. The memorial will also honor survivors and celebrate the efforts of first responders that day.
