LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County has approved a settlement for a lawsuit brought by the employees of former Public Administrator Robert Telles.

During a Tuesday meeting, commissioners unanimously approved the $375,000 settlement as part of its consent agenda. The settlement stems from a lawsuit filed in 2024 by county employees Jessica Coleman, Aleisha Goodwin, and Rita Reid, who accused former Public Administrator Robert Telles of workplace harassment, discrimination and retaliation.

Telles filed a counterclaim later that year, but the lawsuit was voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiffs.

Telles was convicted of murder in October 2024 for the death of Las Vegas journalist Jeff German and sentenced to 28 years to life in prison. Following his incarceration, the plaintiffs participated in mediation that created the settlement proposals.

The settlement agreement also clarifies that the county will make no admission of wrongdoing, and the plaintiffs will dismiss any related claims with prejudice.
