LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County coroner gave the latest update in heat-related deaths last year.

The coroner says heat was a factor in 526 deaths. 55 of those cases may not be completed yet, such as the person’s identity or notifying next of kin.

The last update was reported at 491.

FOX5 meteorologists say warmer temperatures are coming months early.

The valley is seeing record-breaking daily temperatures. Tuesday’s high hit a warm 78 degrees, beating the 1953 record of 76.
