LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County families had a free day of fun and giving back at Echo Trail Park over the weekend.
County Commission Chairman Michael Naft and the nonprofit Get Outdoors Nevada hosted a “Day of Play” on Saturday at the park on Buffalo Drive near Russell Road.
The family-friendly event included carnival games, complimentary food, music from a DJ, and a community park cleanup.

Naft said Echo Trail Park has quickly become a neighborhood gathering spot.
Last year, nearly 500 people turned out, and volunteers collected more than 620 pounds of trash.
The park opened in 2022 and includes a tennis court, playground, splash pad, and walking trail.
Clark County has also announced plans for a new community center at the site, expected to open in 2028.
County real property management and parks and recreation staff were also on-site to talk with residents about future programs at that community center.
